Nike reported their fiscal Q2 ’25 financial results, with revenue beating estimates by 2% and EPS beating consensus by 24%. Operating income fell 24% y-o-y. Nike’s operating income has fallen y-o-y for 10 of the last 13 quarters. EPS and revenue estimate revisions for fiscal ’25, ’26, and ’27 are negative. The stock price reaction to the quarter was positive, despite grim guidance. Nike remains a longer-term position for clients, but that could change quickly. The stock is down 60% from its November ’21 all-time high and may face tax-loss selling before year-end.
