Russia stocks saw significant gains with MOEX Russia Index up 1.50%

Russia stocks surged higher on Wednesday, with Transneft PJSC Pref leading the gains, rising 6.74%. The MOEX Russia Index rose 1.50% to a new 1-month high. In contrast, PhosAgro PJSC was among the worst performers, falling 0.36%. The USD/RUB was down 0.10% to 99.89, while EUR/RUB fell 0.40% to 103.55.
