Indian stock market is slightly higher in early trade, with some individual stocks seeing gains

Indian shares opened flat to slightly higher on Friday, with the Sensex up 242 points and the Nifty up 82 points. IndusInd Bank plans to sell Rs 1,500 crore worth of bad loans. Mahindra & Mahindra, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Bajaj Auto, and Tata Motors are up, while HCL Technologies, Adani Ports, and TCS are seeing losses. Religare Enterprises dropped 1.3 percent due to legal issues. Reliance Power rose over 1 percent after a court granted interim relief. RBL Bank declined 1.5 percent after selling its stake in DAM Capital Advisors.
