Swiss market closes higher with SMI up 0.88%, several companies see gains

The Switzerland market closed higher on Friday, with the SMI up 0.88% at 11,589.34. UBS Group rose 2.14%, while other stocks like Novartis, Partners Group, and Swatch Group also saw gains of 1-1.53%. Companies like Geberit, Richemont, and ABB advanced 0.7 to 1%.

ams OSRAM AG surged 5.3%, with Galderma climbing 2.3%. Relief Therapeutics saw its shares rise over 8% after announcing a potential reverse merger with Renexxion in the first quarter of 2025. Other companies like Roche Holding and Temenos Group also closed higher.
