Taiwan stocks fell 0.16% due to losses in various sectors

Taiwan stocks fell on Monday, with losses in various sectors dragging shares lower. The Taiex dropped 0.16% to reach a new 1-month low. Top performers included Arima Communications Corp and RichWave Technology Corp, while Lead Data Inc and Chung Fu Tex-International Corp were among the worst performers. Crude oil prices rose, while gold futures fell. Forex rates saw the USD/TWD pair increase and the TWD/CNY pair remain stable. The US Dollar Index Futures also rose.
