Taiwan stocks closed lower with losses in various sectors. The Taiwan Weighted index lost 0.37%. Jenn Feng New Energy Co Ltd surged 70.12%, while Career Technology MFG Co Ltd fell 7.98%. Crude oil prices rose, with February delivery up to $71.67 a barrel. USD/TWD was up 0.15% at 32.80.
