Tesla’s China-made EV sales dropped 4.3% to 78,856 in November, but Model 3 and Model Y deliveries rose 15.5% from the previous month. Meanwhile, Chinese rival BYD saw a 67.2% increase in passenger vehicle sales to 504,003 units, with overseas shipments accounting for 6.1%. Tesla offers year-end incentives to compete with BYD’s cost-cutting efforts, including a $1,375.89 discount on Model Y loans and zero-interest financing extension in China until December. Tesla’s market share in China’s EV market fell to 6% in October, its lowest in a year.
