Thai stock market may decline on Monday after finishing slightly higher on Friday

The Thai stock market bounced higher on Friday, resting just above the 1,400-point plateau. The global forecast for Asian markets is mixed to lower, with the Thai market likely to slip back on Monday. The SET finished slightly higher, with gains in various sectors but weakness in financials. The index rose 0.26 percent to close at 1,401.46. Wall Street closed negative, with the Dow down 0.77 percent, NASDAQ down 1.49 percent, and S&P 500 down 1.11 percent. Oil prices rose on Friday after a drop in U.S. crude inventories and ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.
