The Ensign Group, Inc. announced the acquisition of eight facilities in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and California from Providence Home and Community Care, including real estate and operations. Six facilities will be operated by Ensign, while two will be operated by a third-party tenant under a long-term lease with Standard Bearer Healthcare REIT, Inc. Ensign’s CEO expressed excitement for the partnership with Providence, while Providence’s chief of residential services praised Ensign’s expertise and values. Ensign’s Chief Investment Officer highlighted the expansion into Alaska and Oregon, marking the company’s first presence in those states. After the transaction, Ensign will have 330 healthcare operations across 16 states.
