UBS analysts predict a global shift toward renewable energy, with renewables expected to account for 60%-65% of energy generation by 2050. Annual energy investment is set to double to $4-$5 trillion in the next decade. Electrification will drive this transition, with UBS identifying 37 stocks likely to benefit from decarbonization in various sectors.

Capital goods companies like Vestas Wind Systems A/S, Schneider Electric SE, Atlas Copco AB, and Siemens AG are expected to benefit the most from the energy transition. Utilities, like EDP Energias de Portugal SA, Oersted AS, and E.ON SE, are also poised to benefit. Energy companies like BP PLC ADR, Neste Oyj, and TotalEnergies SE are expected to thrive as well.
