WhatsApp will no longer support older iPhone models and certain iPad models

WhatsApp will no longer support certain older iPhone models with operating system versions prior to iOS 15.1 after May 5, 2025. Users are urged to update to the latest iOS version to continue using the app. This includes iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus, as they will not be compatible with iOS 18.

Due to the lack of an iPad app, WhatsApp will also end support for the first-generation iPad Air, iPad mini 2, and iPad mini 3 next year. These devices run on iOS versions earlier than iOS 15.1 and will no longer be compatible with the app. Ensure to update to the latest iOS version to avoid any disruptions in service.
