Almadex Minerals Ltd. reports final exploration results from 2024 and discusses 2025 exploration plans for projects in the western USA. The company has assembled a portfolio of porphyry copper-gold and epithermal gold-silver projects in Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona, advancing them with surface exploration programs and geophysical surveys.
The New Hope porphyry copper project in Arizona shows promising results with a 600m zone of quartz-magnetite veining, indicating a potential porphyry center. Soil and rock chip sampling returned anomalous values of Ag-Mo-Cu-Au and Bi. Almadex plans further soil sampling, geophysical surveys, and diamond drilling in 2025.
At the Paradise project in Nevada, Almadex identified strong vectors towards porphyry mineralization at depth through detailed field alteration mapping. Diamond drilling confirmed the association of the Paradise lithocap with a porphyry system, showing visible copper and molybdenum mineralization. Further drilling and geophysical surveys are planned for 2025.
Almadex’s Pilot project in Nevada, characterized by extensive alteration and geologic mapping, revealed evidence of porphyry-style veining. Soil sampling defined anomalous copper-molybdenum and gold zones coinciding with high chargeability. Plans for exploratory drilling in 2025 are in place to further investigate the potential.
In Colorado, the King project covers an area of intense porphyry lithocap and high sulphidation alteration. Mapping and sampling identified strong Mo-Cu-Au anomalies, with plans for further exploration in 2025. The Red Ring project in Nevada also shows potential with a large alteration zone identified.
The Tierra Blanca prospect in New Mexico displays alteration characterized by muscovite and illite, with quartz veins identified in 2024 mapping. Further confirmation of potential copper porphyry systems through mapping and sampling is planned for 2025.
