Apple is offering discounts of up to 500 yuan on select iPhone 16 models in China from January 4 to 7. This move comes as the company faces pressure in the country’s smartphone market, with local competitors like Huawei gaining traction.

Huawei’s resurgence in the premium smartphone segment has intensified competition for Apple in China. Huawei’s Q3 sales surged by 42% year-over-year, while Apple’s sales dipped slightly despite recent market gains.
