The Australian market is seeing losses, with the S&P/ASX 200 falling below 8,400 due to weakness in gold mining and financial stocks. Major miners like BHP Group and Mineral Resources are down almost 2 percent each, while oil stocks are mostly higher. In the tech space, WiseTech Global is down 0.1 percent, while Zip is gaining 2.5 percent. Among the big four banks, Commonwealth Bank, National Australia Bank, ANZ Banking, and Westpac are edging down. Gold miners like Gold Road Resources and Newmont are slipping, while Resolute Mining is edging up. The Aussie dollar is trading at $0.627 on Thursday.
