French stocks, including CAC 40, are up slightly after inflation data

French stocks are up following the ECB’s rate cut decision. CAC 40 is up 0.27% at 7963.05. French inflation rate rose to 1.4% in January, with CPI down 0.1%. EU-harmonised CPI dropped 0.2% in January. Producer prices rose 1% in December but fell 3.8% year-over-year. Schneider Electric is up 1.7%, while STMicroElectronics is down over 9% on weak earnings. Edenred is declining 1.4%. In other news, Vivendi, Engie, and Dassault Systemes are gaining, while Sanofi, Safran, and Airbus Group are up with modest gains. L’Oreal, Credit Agricole, Stellantis, and LVMH are down 0.4 to 0.6%.
