The Charlotte Hornets, Gray Media, Capitol Broadcasting, and FanDuel Sports Southeast have partnered to simulcast five games this season across North Carolina and South Carolina, marking the first time Hornets basketball has aired on local, free over-the-air TV since 2007-08. The games will be distributed in various markets, with WSOC-TV Channel 9 and TV 64 airing in the Charlotte market. The schedule includes matchups against the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Milwaukee Bucks, Dallas Mavericks, and Golden State Warriors. This collaboration aims to expand the reach of Hornets basketball to a wider audience.

The partnership between Gray Media’s Palmetto Sports & Entertainment Network and the Charlotte Hornets will make FanDuel Sports Southeast broadcasts available to a broader audience in the Carolinas. Hornets President of Business Operations Shelly Cayette-Weston expressed excitement about the opportunity to grow the fanbase and make broadcasts more accessible. Gray and the Palmetto Sports & Entertainment Network are committed to providing viewers with live sports content, ensuring fans can enjoy the games across various platforms. The simulcasted games will feature the Hornets’ broadcast team, including Eric Collins, Dell Curry, and Shannon Spake.
