Investors are looking to refresh their portfolios in 2025 with attractively valued stocks that lagged in 2024, like Coca-Cola and PepsiCo, both down around 14% from their highs. PepsiCo has fallen more than Coca-Cola year to date, but PepsiCo’s drop from its three-year high is around 22%, while Coca-Cola’s is 14%. PepsiCo’s price-to-sales ratio is nearly 18% below its average, while Coca-Cola’s is only 7% lower. PepsiCo’s dividend yield is at an all-time high, making it a better value for investors with a value bias. Both companies are well-run, but PepsiCo may be the better choice in 2025 for income-focused or value investors.
