JetBlue reports decrease in Q4 loss, beats estimates, showing signs of financial recovery

JetBlue Airways Corp. reported a fourth-quarter loss of -$44 million, or -$0.13 per share, an improvement from the previous year’s loss of -$104 million or -$0.31 per share. Adjusted earnings were reported at -$72 million or -$0.21 per share, beating analysts’ expectations of -$0.30 per share. The company’s revenue for the period decreased by 2.1% to $2.277 billion from $2.325 billion last year. JetBlue Airways Corp. appears to be on a path towards financial recovery despite the challenges faced by the airline industry.
