Northwest Bancshares Inc. (NWBI) reported a fourth quarter profit of $32.75 million, or $0.26 per share, beating Street estimates. This is an increase from last year’s earnings of $29.01 million, or $0.23 per share. Adjusted earnings for the period were $34.80 million or $0.27 per share, surpassing analysts’ average expectation of $0.25 per share. Northwest Bancshares Inc. earnings under GAAP showed growth in both earnings and EPS compared to last year.
