Robex extends life of Nampala Gold Mine in Mali with updated technical study

Robex Resources Inc. has extended the life of the Nampala mine in Mali to December 2026. The Mineral Reserves are at 121Koz ounces @ 0.93g/t Au, with the potential to grow Mineral Reserves to 243Koz @ 0.94g/t Au. Economic factors include an average annual gold production of 52,000 ounces and a LoM AISC of US$1,106/oz. The post-tax NPV at a consensus gold price is US$71.1M.

The updated technical report for the Nampala Mine in Mali was prepared in compliance with Canadian Securities Administrators’ NI 43-101 standards. The mine is expected to continue producing gold at low costs, supporting Robex’s development of the Kiniero gold mine in Guinea. The detailed report will be published on SEDAR within the next 45 days.

Exploration at the Nampala Property in Mali has involved remote sensing, geophysics, rock chip sampling, and soil sampling. Over 342,000 meters of drilling have been completed, with a focus on the Nampala deposit. The Property has significant gold mineralization potential.

The Nampala Mine in Mali operates as an open-pit mine using contractor-operated equipment. The operation involves drilling, blasting, and processing of oxide and transitional materials. The mine’s processing flowsheet includes gravity concentration, CIL process, and Zadra elution, with a focus on optimizing processing efficiency.

The Nampala Mine in Mali has achieved consistent increases in throughput and gold recovery. The total gold produced since January 2017 is approximately 370 koz Au. The mine has shown steady performance and met or exceeded production targets from 2020 to 2023, with an average gold recovery of 88.8%.

Infrastructure at the Nampala Mine includes a boundary fence, water sources, power generation from solar and thermal plants, waste dumps, tailings ponds, and medical facilities. The site also has offices, accommodation facilities, and communication systems. The layout of the mine infrastructure is designed to support operational safety and efficiency.

Robex Resources Inc. has evaluated the economic analysis of the Nampala Mine based on actual operational data and new technical inputs. The mine’s NPV post-tax is estimated at US$71 million as of September 30, 2024, considering consensus forward gold prices and a 5% discount rate. Sensitivity analyses were conducted to assess the impact of changes in gold prices and operating costs on the Project’s value.
