Top U.S. economist Steve Hanke criticizes potential creation of U.S. Bitcoin reserve, calling it a “stupid idea” that would not drive economic growth. He believes investing in Bitcoin would not increase productivity or improve standards of living.

Hanke previously referred to crypto holders as “psychopaths” based on a study that found they exhibit dark personality traits like narcissism and Machiavellianism. The study surveyed 2,000 Americans and concluded that crypto holders have low analytic and scientific thinking skills.
