Taiwan stocks closed lower on Thursday, with the Taiex falling 0.67%. Top performers included Fortune Oriental Co Ltd, up 9.72%, while Formosa Oilseed Processing Co Ltd was the worst performer, down 10.00%. Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones. Crude oil prices rose slightly, with Brent oil hitting $74.81 a barrel. USD/TWD was down 0.02% at 32.86.
