United Airlines is expediting the introduction of Starlink to enhance in-flight connectivity for global passengers. Testing will start next month, with the first commercial flight on a United Embraer E-175 aircraft expected this spring. The airline plans to equip its regional fleet with Starlink by year-end and have its first mainline Starlink-enabled plane in operation. MileagePlus customers will enjoy free access to Starlink for streaming, shopping, gaming, and more. Last September, United signed an agreement with SpaceX to bring Starlink to its entire fleet, providing high-speed, low-latency internet service in the air. Membership to MileagePlus is free.
