Unitil Corporation has completed the purchase of Bangor Natural Gas Company from PHC Utilities, Inc. The acquisition brings 8,500 customers and 351 miles of distribution pipelines to Unitil, serving approximately 207,000 customers in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. The purchase price was $70.9 million, with an additional $0.3 million for working capital. Unitil looks forward to providing a high level of service to Bangor’s customers.
