Vodafone Group sells Vodafone Italy to Swisscom AG for 8.0 billion euros.

Vodafone Group Plc completes the sale of its Italian operations to Swisscom AG for 8.0 billion euros. Proceeds will be used to reduce Vodafone Group net debt, with up to 2.0 billion euros targeted to be returned to shareholders. The agreement includes Vodafone continuing to provide certain services to Vodafone Italy for up to five years.
