Westhaven Gold Corp. appoints new exploration and chief geologist, grants stock options

Westhaven Gold Corp. appoints Robin Hopkins P.Geol. as Vice-President of Exploration and Peter Fischl, P.Geo as Chief Geologist. Hopkins has 40 years of experience in mineral exploration, previously working with Stornoway Diamond Corporation and Aber Resources Ltd. Fischl was instrumental in discovering the South Zone high-grade epithermal gold-silver deposit on the Shovelnose Gold Property. The company granted 3,500,000 incentive stock options to directors, officers, and consultants with an exercise price of $0.15 per share. Westhaven is focused on exploring the Shovelnose project in Canada’s Spences Bridge Gold Belt, controlling approximately 61,512 hectares with four gold properties.
