From GlobeNewswire: 2025-02-13 07:00:00
Abcourt Mines Inc. released results from its drilling program at the Sleeping Giant mine. Highlights include holes intersecting the 785N Zone with grades of 41.6 g/t over 0.7m and 15.44 g/t over 3m. The CEO is excited about the potential for a new extraction zone and quick monetization. Preliminary economic study estimates 58,052t at 13.8 g/t Au for the 106-785N-E340 site.
The drilling campaign aims to boost confidence in the mine’s depth and East potential. Two holes successfully intercepted the 785N Zone at targeted depths, showing consistency with previous drilling. Continuous drilling is planned to optimize resource knowledge accessible via shaft 2. The company intends to update the mineral resource estimate and prepare for a pre-feasibility study.
Quality control measures include high-precision instruments for drilling alignment and core analysis. Blank, standard, and duplicate samples are inserted every 25 samples for analysis. Half-cores are prepared at the mine’s internal lab, and samples are analyzed using the Photon Assay(TM) method by an ISO-17025 accredited laboratory. Technical information sources are from reports by InnovExplo.
Abcourt welcomes a new director, Mr. Eric Gratton, with over 30 years of management experience in the mining industry. The company owns properties in northwestern Quebec and is focused on the Sleeping Giant mine and Flordin property.
