Australian Market Treads Back In To The Red In Mid-market

The Australian stock market is slightly lower in choppy trading, staying above the 8,500 level with mixed sector performance. The S&P/ASX 200 is down 0.06% to 8,515.40, while the broader All Ordinaries Index is down 0.01% to 8,784.40. Major miners like BHP Group and Rio Tinto are up, while oil stocks are mostly lower. Among tech stocks, WiseTech Global and Appen are gaining. Big four banks are edging up, and gold miners are mostly lower. Domino’s Pizza shares are up more than 22%, Nick Scali shares are jumping more than 13%. The Aussie dollar is trading at $0.629 on Friday.
