Financial stocks saw gains, but gold miners and tech stocks experienced weakness. Major miners like BHP Group and Rio Tinto are in the red, while oil stocks like Santos are down. Tech stocks like Zip and Xero are also declining, with WiseTech Global tumbling more than 22 percent. In other news, NIB Holdings shares surged, while Iress shares tumbled. APA Group shares are up, but Nuix and Reece shares are down. The Aussie dollar is trading at $0.639.
