Baker Hughes awarded contract from ExxonMobil Guyana to supply production chemicals for FPSOs

Baker Hughes has secured a major contract from ExxonMobil Guyana to supply production chemicals for the Uaru and Whiptail offshore developments in Guyana. The contract includes chemicals for the Errea Wittu and Jaguar FPSOs, with a combined capacity of 500,000 barrels per day. These FPSOs are set to begin production in 2026 and 2027. This marks ExxonMobil Guyana’s fifth and sixth projects in the country, with up to 20 drill centers and 92 production and injection wells planned. Baker Hughes is well-positioned to support these operations with its expertise and local supply chains.
