BASF Group sees rise in net income for fiscal year 2024 despite decrease in sales

BASF Group reported a significant increase in net income for fiscal 2024, reaching 1.3 billion euros compared to 225 million euros in 2023. Earnings per share also rose to 1.45 euros from 0.25 euros, with adjusted earnings per share at 3.51 euros compared to 2.78 euros. Despite a slight decrease in sales to 65.3 billion euros, the company expects EBITDA before special items to increase in 2025. The proposed dividend for 2024 is set at 2.25 euros per share, showcasing the company’s positive outlook for the future.
