British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) has sold its majority stake in Hayfin Capital Management to Arctos Partners, a private investment firm. BCI remains a key limited partner in certain Hayfin fund strategies. Over the years, Hayfin’s assets under management grew from €8 billion to over €33 billion. BCI worked closely with Hayfin to enhance platform capabilities and ensure superior performance. The sale reflects the growth and consolidation in the private credit market. BCI’s private equity program in Europe includes investments in companies like BMS Group and Waterlogic, positioning them for future opportunities in the region. BCI manages C$250.4 billion in assets for pension funds and institutional clients.
