Eni S.p.A. announces a joint venture with Petronas to oversee selected upstream assets in Indonesia and Malaysia. The companies plan to invest in new gas projects to support regional energy demands and transition efforts. The goal is to achieve sustainable production of 500 kboepd in the medium term and explore up to 10 billion barrels of oil equivalent in reserves. Eni’s stock closed at $29.91 on the NYSE, trading 0.31% higher in after-market hours before ending at $30.
