Haivision's report highlights key trends in broadcast industry shift towards efficiency and new technologies

Haivision released its 2025 Broadcast Transformation Report, based on a survey of nearly 900 broadcast professionals. Key findings include a 9% increase in SRT usage, 76% of broadcasters using 5G for efficiency, and 25% adopting AI. Hybrid cloud and on-premise solutions are mainstream, with 86% using cloud technology. HEVC usage has reached 70%, catching up with H.264.
