Knowles (NYSE:KN) missed revenue expectations in Q4 CY2024, with sales dropping 33.8% YoY to $142.5 million. Next quarter’s revenue guidance of $129 million was 5.5% below analysts’ estimates. Non-GAAP profit of $0.27 per share missed by 4.4%. Knowles recently completed the divestiture of its Consumer MEMS Microphone business to focus on industrial markets. The company’s operating margin was 10.8%, in line with the same quarter last year. EPS for Q4 was $0.27, down from $0.28 a year ago. Wall Street expects full-year EPS of $0.97 to grow by 14.2% over the next 12 months.
Knowles has seen weak demand over the last four years, with sales declining at a 2.7% annual rate. Revenue has fallen by 5.3% annually over the last two years. Analysts project a 14.3% YoY decline in revenue over the next 12 months. The stock dropped 10% to $16.42 following the Q4 results.
