From Nasdaq: 2025-02-27 19:59:44
The Hong Kong stock market continued its decline on Thursday, with the Hang Seng Index closing just below 23,720 points. Global markets are also under pressure due to concerns over U.S. tariffs, with both European and U.S. markets finishing in the red. Technology stocks faced losses, but gains from the property sector helped offset some of the losses. On Wall Street, major averages ended near session lows, with the Dow down 0.45 percent, the NASDAQ plummeting 2.78 percent, and the S&P 500 dropping 1.59 percent. Oil prices rose as the U.S. revoked Chevron Corporation’s license to operate in Venezuela.
