Owens Corning expected to report 20% revenue growth, analysts expecting $2.91 per share earnings

In comparison to its peers in the home construction materials segment, Simpson reported year-on-year revenue growth of 3.1%, beating estimates by 4.3%, while Griffon reported a revenue decline of 1.7%, falling short of estimates by 0.8%. Simpson’s stock price rose 1.5% following the results, while Griffon’s stock price increased by 8.8%. Overall, the home construction materials sector has underperformed, with share prices down 6.2% on average over the last month. The Fed’s successful fight against high inflation and the election of Donald Trump in November 2024 have contributed to market gains.
