Plug Power Inc. confirms progress on its new 15-ton-per-day hydrogen plant in Louisiana, set for operations in the first quarter. The facility, operated by Hidrogenii, a joint venture between Plug Power and Olin Corporation, has achieved over 412,000 safe working hours with zero injuries. A crucial dry-out process is underway to ensure high-purity hydrogen production. Once completed, the plant will add 15 TPD of liquid hydrogen to increase Plug’s total production capacity to 39 TPD, supporting partners like Amazon and Walmart. This plant marks a significant step in Plug Power’s efforts to expand its North American hydrogen network.
