Samsung Electronics and South Korean union reached a 5.1% wage hike agreement

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has reached a wage agreement with its labor union in South Korea, offering an average 5.1 percent pay raise for 2025. The deal includes a 3 percent increase in base salary, a 2.1 percent rise in bonuses, and 30 treasury shares per employee. A joint task force will work on improving the bonus system, with updates every six months. The National Samsung Electronics Union will vote on the deal from February 28 to March 5. Samsung shares in South Korea closed 1.6 percent down at 57,300 Korean Won on Monday.
