The China stock market ended a two-day winning streak ahead of the Lunar New Year break, with the Shanghai Composite Index just above 3,250 points. Global markets are optimistic about easing trade war concerns, with European markets mixed and U.S. markets up. On Jan. 27, the SCI closed slightly lower due to losses in property and resource stocks, offset by gains in financials and oil companies. Major U.S. indexes climbed, with the Dow up 0.30%, NASDAQ up 1.35%, and S&P 500 up 0.72%. Oil prices fell as Trump postponed tariffs on Canada and Mexico exports.
