Teck Resources Limited announced its unaudited fourth-quarter results for 2024, highlighting adjusted EBITDA of $835 million, record copper production, and strong base metals pricing. They returned $1.8 billion to shareholders in 2024 and reduced debt by $1.8 billion. They achieved record annual copper production of 446,000 tonnes in 2024, up 50% from the previous year.
Teck expects annual 2025 copper production to increase to between 490,000 and 565,000 tonnes as Quebrada Blanca (QB) continues to ramp up. They achieved record copper production of 446,000 tonnes in 2024, supported by the ramp-up of QB. They completed planned maintenance at QB in January 2025 and continue to focus on near-term projects for growth opportunities.

For 2025, Teck maintains its guidance for copper production between 490,000 and 565,000 tonnes, zinc production between 525,000 and 575,000 tonnes, and refined zinc production between 190,000 and 230,000 tonnes. Unit cost guidance includes copper net cash unit costs of $1.65 to $1.95 per pound and zinc net cash unit costs of $0.45 to $0.55 per pound.
