The US spirits industry maintained market share over beer and wine in 2024, despite a 1.1% revenue decrease to $37.2 billion. Tequila sales grew 2.9% to $6.7 billion, the only category showing growth. Premixed cocktails also saw a 16.5% increase to $3.3 billion, with vodka leading in revenue at $7.2 billion.

The Trump administration delayed tariffs by one month while negotiations continue. Industry experts warn that tariffs would be a “catastrophic blow” to distillers already facing challenges due to high interest rates.
