Australia’s Jeanswest enters administration as physical stores close

Australian fashion brand Jeanswest is entering voluntary administration due to tough trading conditions and increased costs. The retailer has 90 stores and over 600 employees. Plans are in place to close physical outlets while exploring online options. Administrators have been appointed to oversee the restructuring process and inventory sale. Another retail conglomerate, Mosaic, is also facing closures after entering administration, affecting 2,500 workers across 651 stores.
