Bird Construction Inc. has been awarded five projects totaling $470 million, including its first Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model project in Atlantic Canada. The projects include work with Ontario Power Generation, the Government of B.C., and industrial maintenance agreements. Bird’s subsidiary, Jacob Bros Construction, secured a $55 million project to widen Highway 1 in B.C. Bird also won contracts for the design and construction of two buildings for OPG totaling $120 million. Bird’s industrial maintenance team secured two contracts worth approximately $100 million, highlighting their leadership in the sector. Bird completed the validation stage for a recreation center redevelopment project in B.C., estimated at $125 million.
