Brazilian cosmetic group Natura is undergoing a leadership shake-up and proposing a restructuring plan that involves integrating Natura Cosmeticos as the parent company listed on Brazil’s stock exchange, providing potential value to shareholders. The move reverses a 2019 decision following the acquisition of Avon Products, as Natura focuses on its Latin American operations. CEO Fabio Barbosa will become chairman, with CFO Guilherme Castellan departing. Options for Avon’s business outside Latin America are still being considered. Ferreira and Boas will continue as CEO and CFO, respectively, of Natura Cosmeticos, with Castellan assisting in the transition. The changes are supported by founders and controlling shareholders.
