Build-A-Bear to open immersive retail store in Orlando, boosting stock price

Build-A-Bear Workshop is set to open a new multi-level retail experience in Orlando, Florida by the first half of 2026. The company will partner with design firm Chute Gerdeman to create an immersive teddy bear-making experience. The new location, located within ICON Park, aims to attract customers of all ages, including adult collectors. CEO Sharon Price John sees the store as a major attraction. ICON Park CEO Chris Jaskiewicz believes this will be the largest experiential retail concept at the venue, boosting Orlando’s reputation as a top retail destination. BBW’s stock is currently trading at $36.73, up 3.46% on the NYSE.
