U.S. Bitcoin exchange-traded funds saw $744.3 million in inflows, breaking a five-week outflow streak. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust led with $537.5 million, while Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund added $136.5 million. Daily flows data showed increasing momentum, with Bitcoin trading at around $87,935, up 5.4% in the past week.
On the other hand, Ethereum-based products experienced four consecutive weeks of outflows, totaling $102.9 million. BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust saw the largest exodus at $74 million. Ethereum’s price performance improved slightly to around $2,074, with an 8.4% gain in the past week but down 37.8% year-to-date.
The contrasting flows between Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs reflect shifting investor sentiment as markets aim to recover from recent volatility. Bitcoin products attracted significant inflows, while Ethereum products continued to see outflows. The positive Bitcoin flows coincide with a recent price increase, while Ethereum remains down for the year.
