The timeline has been extended to explore optimization opportunities that could improve project economics. The project aims to triple gold production and establish Caledonia as an intermediate gold producer.
Key areas of optimization include exploring concentrate sales, relocating the Tailings Storage Facility, and incorporating opportunities at Motapa following strong exploration results. The project, located adjacent to Bilboes, has shown promising mineralization. High-grade mineralization at the Blanket Mine could also contribute to initial capital requirements for Bilboes.
