Chevron sells East Texas gas assets to Tokyo Gas for $525 million

Chevron has agreed to sell its East Texas gas assets to Tokyo Gas for $525 million. The deal includes approximately 140,000 net acres in the Haynesville Shale. Chevron hopes to focus on its core business areas and generate cash flow through the sale of non-core assets.
