CSX Corporation has reached a new five-year tentative collective bargaining agreement with the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmiths, Forgers & Helpers (IBB). The agreement, subject to ratification by the union’s 59 members at CSX, is part of CSX’s commitment to valuing and empowering employees. This agreement is one of 11 ratified agreements with labor unions covering 14 work groups, representing 47% of the unionized workforce. The terms include improved wages, healthcare, and paid time off benefits. CSX aims to continue working with other unions to make similar agreements and improve the work environment for employees.
